The Bears made a another need based pick. They went with the outstanding Tulane running back Matt Forte. Forte has very good size and decent speed. He can cut and change direction on a dime, and will provide the Bears with a great opportunity to mix size with speed in Matt Forte and Cedric Benson/Garrett Wolfe.

We said we would post this earlier this week. We won’t make a habit of honoring a whole lot of players for teams other than the Bears, but you gotta give props to Maurice Jones Drew for his block… no scratch that, his annihilation of Shawne Merriman. You gotta like Jones Drew. He also had a sick tackle on Jason Craft of the New Orleans Saints when he had an INT. Here are both of them… enjoy.
