I think another thing on Urlacher that was forget isn't on his own numbers, but on how much better everyone else around him is if he's on the field. That's the real deal right there.

Chester Taylor was a GREAT pickup. He has a lot left in him. He was so under-utilized last season, so he got to heal up even more. He's a really good RB, picks up the blitz, can catch, and he's smart, he knows to adjust to coverages; he'll help a lot.
Bell I'm not sure what to think. I want to know if he was a fluke last season, or if he even didn't get the chance to look like one. Once a back gets hot they take him out. Remember TJ in the Super Bowl? What a waste!
Wolfe is a ST stud and a total tiny dynamo, if he can keep his paycheck as small as his jersey then keep him on until we wear him out. He's our best STer. I've missed our last good one who we lost because they wanted paid like a full time MLB, and that was a pro-bowl player.
I think Wolfe can fill in there in a pinch, so he is a stress relief to have on the roster, he just should have been taking in round five so people would give him a break.

I think Kellen Davis looks like he shouldn't be on this team. And it is unfortunate that he is on the bubble for us. He seems to find the right place to be in all the time. That is comforting, and he does it well. He plays the way that Matt Forte is supposed to be. He covers his QB and watches for blitzes and he also watches for mistakes and broken blocks elsewhere on the line - and the part I notice the most is he does two things big - he returns to the QB instantly when the play goes long or is breaking down, or just finds a seem. He is the opposite of Bernard Berrian in that he doesn't seem to ever give up on any single play.

And on Hunter H, you are right, plus! he can backup multiple LB positions, important as an MLB backup, but can play multiple roles on the squad. He's become underrated. He also adapts to the game, just watch how he'd change his approach during the Vikings game last season.

I like Garrett Wolfe as well. He's a really good guy, but I don't think he should be running the ball a lot. He will see action on special teams mostly, which isn't a bad thing either.

Like I said on the website, strong OL play is essential to offensive success in the NFL. Omiyale is a liability and the only reason I can think of that Beekman isn't starting yet is that he's being groomed completely to take over for Olin when he retires. Even if that is the case, Omiyale is not the answer. And now they have him playing tackle which I think puts Cutler in even more peril and that worries me. I do think Chris Williams is going to rock this year and hopefully Lance Louis pans out since they put him in the starting lineup. Olin is old, but I think he can still get the job done. He's a mean ass, old ass, more feisty than people think he is Bear!

Big fan of the Bears running backs this year. I think Forte is really going to rebound and I've liked Chester Taylor since the year before he left Baltimore for Minnesota. I still like Kahlil Bell but he's basically the same runner that Taylor is but with less catching skills. I really like Garrett Wolfe on special teams though. He's the new AP.

Yeah, he definitely looks fully healed. He won't get as many opportunities as he did in his rookie year, but he will be utilized more in Martz's offense than Turner's.
